Muenster State Bank is very excited to announce that we have a new internet banking service. The new site offers all of the same functionality you have been accustomed to while introducing new features too. There will be a few setup steps you will need to complete in order to login to your online banking for the first time.
Use your existing login ID and click login.
The system will ask for you secret answer. Your secret answer is your current login ID + last four digits of your Social Security Number.
If your current login ID is jdoe and your Social Security Number is 123-45-6789, then your secret answer will be jdoe6789. This is just an example please do not enter jdoe6789 as your secret answer.
The system will then walk you through an initial registration process. You will choose new security questions, a new security image, a new security phrase, and a new password.
If we do not currently have an email for you on file, the system will prompt you to enter a valid email address at this time. Your email address may be used for password resets, account alerts, and bank communication.
Once again, Muenster State Bank is delighted to bring you the latest in internet banking technology. Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at 1-940-759-2257.

Muenster State Bank offers a 24-hour depository for your convenience. Drop off deposits or loan payments during or after hours. The deposits/payments drop directly into a safe for your ultimate security. It is the most reliable way to make cash deposits that will otherwise be left unattended during the night. Commercial businesses also make use of the depository for their after hours depository needs. Lock bags can also be deposited by customers if they obtain a key from the bank.
Direct deposit allows a customer to have their paychecks or U.S. Treasury checks automatically deposited into their account. Their employer or the government will need specific bank information such as MSB's routing number and the customer's account number. Direct deposit relieves the customer from making trips to the bank which saves time.
It is also faster than mail. Call or come by the bank for more information and ask your employer if they offer the service.
Bank by Mail is a free service offered by the bank. Come by the bank and pick up some of our postage paid envelopes to use for deposits, loan payments, or any other correspondence you may need to make with us. These envelopes can be dropped in the mail or in the night drop at the bank. Bank by Mail is convenient for customers who don't have access to the bank during banking hours, especially our out of town customers and those who work during banking hours.
Muenster State Bank offers cashier's checks and money orders for our current customers. They can be purchased by our customers for any amount. Call for details regarding the cost for purchase.
Muenster State Bank can perform both domestic and international wire transfers to other financial institutions for current account holders.
NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR NONINTEREST-BEARING TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS
All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts.
For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
IMPORTANT CHANGE TO U.S. SAVINGS BONDS
Planning to buy a savings bond? Paper savings bonds will no longer be sold at financial institutions after December 31, 2011. But they are not going away. Electronic savings bonds can be purchased online through TreasuryDirect. Open a free Treasury Direct account today at www.treasurydirect.gov.
Already have paper savings bonds? Existing paper bonds are still valid and will earn interest for 30 years from the issue date or until redeemed. You can continue to cash savings bonds here.
